Surviving the winter months can be tough, freezing temperatures and low humidity can leave your skin and hair dry.  If you wear extensions full time, keeping your hair moisturized can be especially hard during winter.  Here are some of our favourite products that will keep moisture locked in and help your hair look fabulous.

LUSH H'SUAN WEN HUA HAIR TREATMENT

Lush states that this is an
intensely moisturizing treatment for truly unruly or damaged hair.  They have loaded this treatment up with protein-rich eggs to strengthen hair, moisturizing bananas and avocados and shine-enhancing balsamic vinegar to make hair look and feel healthy again. With scalp-stimulating cinnamon leaf and rosemary oils, it'll leave your hair smelling like a spicy cup of chai.

Available at Lush retail stores or online at lush.com
Price: $ 21.95

Personal Tip: I apply this treatment overnight, it gets absorbed very quickly and doesn't leave any residue on your pillow.  In the moning my hair feels softer and stronger.

L'OCCITANE BODY AND STRENGTH LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER

L'Occitane's description of this Leave-in Concentrate Body & Strength, is that it will strengthen and protect the lengths and tips of your hair, to leave it full of vitality. This serum with a light, gel-cream texture and which formula combines 5 tonifying essential oils with an active ingredient derived from sugar cane, help provide protection.

Avaible at L'Occitane's retail stores or online at loccitane.com
Price: $ 18.99

Personal Tip:  I find this serum to be a bit too heavy to apply all over so I only use it on my ends, two to three pumps is enough for my hair with extensions.  Apply before or after blow dry.
